Trauma Responsive
Our Trauma Response Service provides compassionate, trauma-informed support for children, families and individuals affected by imprisonment, recognising that separation, uncertainty and stigma can have a lasting emotional impact and focusing on helping families feel safe, heard and supported.

Supporting families with understanding, care and trauma responsive practice
We work alongside families, schools and partner organisations to provide practical and emotional guidance tailored to individual needs. Through one-to-one support, group sessions and collaborative working, we create safe spaces where children and families can explore their experiences, build resilience and strengthen relationships. Our practitioners use trauma responsive approaches that prioritise trust, consistency and understanding.
The service also supports professionals working with families affected by imprisonment. We offer advice, training and guidance to help schools and partner organisations respond in a sensitive and informed way. By working together, we aim to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and help families move forward with confidence and hope.
