WE'RE A COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY
A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a non-charitable limited company that is set up primarily for the benefit of the community. This type of company was set up by the UK Government in 2005 under the Companies Act 2004 and is designed for social enterprises where there is a wish to use their profits and assets for the public good, and social value.
Community Interest Companies are regulated by HM Government’s CIC Regulator and governed by a Board of Directors.
The Invisible Walls Community Interest Company is supported by a number of sponsors, we can receive donations and apply for grants from various sources – all of which will enable us to better support our families and expand the service in new ways. As a Community Interest Company, we welcome discussions from interested individuals or organisations who may want to become involved in supporting this exciting new venture, through corporate sponsorship and philanthropy as well as a host of other social value funding opportunities.
OUR COMPANY CULTURE
We are committed to delivering the best possible family service to those in custody, in the community and significant others in their lives. We recognise that we have a professional and moral obligation to support, guide and help everyone with regard to their family, parenting and relationship situation, where it is safe and appropriate to do so. We want what we do to have significant positive impacts on children and families in the community.
